5KW Brushless motor & Kelly KEB controller, first test
Initial test of a 72v, 5KW “Jonway“, etc., brushless hub motor connected to a Kelly KEB 8KW controller both in unknown working condition. Power: 115vac line to 1KW isolation transformer to 15A variac, to 200PIV, 35A bridge rectifier to 27000uF capacitor feeding B and B- on the controller. It was good to see it all worked! I had the controller’s low-voltage cutoff set to 60v during this test so I had to get above that before the motor would run (*-*** red LED blink sequence indicates the input voltage is
