This means you don’t need that DLC in order to visit this legendary vendor. Q: WHAT TYPE OF ITEMS CAN I PURCHASE AT MAURICE’S VENDING MACHINE? A: Maurice’s Black Market always offers multiple versions of 3 different legendary items. Weapon Parts, Elements, and Anoints are mixed up so you can find the best version. Gearbox Software carefully selected top-tier legendary items for this loot pool. Q: CAN I USE BORDERLANDS 3 DLC ITEMS FROM THE BLACK MARKET VENDOR? A: You can occasionally find a DLC item in the Black Market vending machine. You can purchase these items, however, you are only able to use them if you also own the corresponding DLC. Q: WHEN DOES MAURICE’S BLACK MARKET CHANGE LOCATIONS? A: Gearbox Software will hide the Black Market at a new location each week. They will change the location every Thursday at 9:00 AM PT. A: Did the Black Market Vending Machine disappear and not show up at the location mentioned above? This means you already interacted with the machine. It doesn’t matter if you made a purchase. Gearbox Software implemented a timer to prevent you from farming the vendor. You are safe if you stay on the same map but once you travel to a new location, the vendor is gone. If you want to farm Maurice’s vending machine again, you will need to wait 30 minutes (in-game) before it reappears again. This reset requires you to reload the map.
