Drakensberg Base Jump (Amphitheater)

We started our hike from the Sentinal car park up to the exit point of the icon Amphitheater at about 5 am in the freezing cold with the goal to Base Jump the 300m vertical drop and land down in the valley to hike back out to the Tendele campsite car park. When we reached the top 3 hours later and made our jump around 8:30 am that morning. We continued to hike down the river bed for a gruesome 4 hours of rock to rock hopping and endless mountain trails. All in all this jump was a dream come true combined with the beautiful scenery the Drakensburg mountain range has to offer.
