Laser Effector successfully deployed VS Mini Drone

MBDA Deutschland deployed its Laser Effector, to acquire, track and defeat a free-flying mini drone. First time ever this technology is used to this effect. The mini drone flying in the target area, at a range of 500m, was destroyed within seconds from the start of the test. A real success ! (May 2015)
