French riot police knock man during protest

French riot police knocked down a man while charging at anti-pension bill protesters in Paris on Tuesday, March 28. There was not comment from the police on the man’s health. Since mid-January, there have been numerous protests and strike actions where millions of people have expressed their displeasure over President Emmanuel Macron’s proposal to increase the retirement age by two years, forcing most people to work until the age of 64.
