96 Tears- ? and the Mysterians (New Enhanced Stereo Version) 1966

I’ve had requests for this song so when I work up decided to work on enhancing this song. It was a fun song and only took 4 hours which is probably the shortest time of any song I’ve done. The only part that gave me trouble was the middle bridge. The bass guitar is out of tune with the organ and guitar track on the original. The way I got around it was to place an low E not on both channels to override the off pitch then track on lead part with my telecaster. I put more pronounced drums and redid parts of the continental Vox organ using a sound by Yamaha keyboard to match as closely as possible the original sound. The electric piano #2 came closest to the sound. Hope you oldies fans like it!
