M/S of an old house. Various shots of old craftsman wood turner William Bailey who carries on the centuries old tradition of making wooden pheasants eggs. He is seen working on his treadle lathe, making and painting the eggs. C/U of him.
Note: there is a letter from the grandson of the craftsman featured in this film on file. The craftsman’s name was William Bailey and he was the landlord of the Turner’s Arms pub in West Street, Kings Cliffe, Northamptonshire.
