Mike Agranoff - Brandenburg Concerto #3 (1st Movement) J.S. Bach

And now for something completely different! This is a transcription I made of the first Movement of the 3rd Brandenburg for two English concertinas. The original is scored for 3 violins, 3 violas, 3 cellos and bass. I took the 6 violin and viola parts and condensed them into two concertina parts, with each concertina often playing two, and occasionally three string lines at once. Since the score often has some of the strings either playing in unison or laying out, almost note Bach wrote is in the transcription. I also condensed the 3 cello parts into one, which is being played by Liz Cabrera. And the bass is played by Marco Brehm. I am playing the 1st concertina part live against a recording of Liz, Marco, and my own performance of the 2nd concertina part.
