The RCA BA-6A is a highly desirable limiting amplifier from around the 1950s. Originally used in radio stations and recording studios, its vari-mu design is still sought after 70 years later.
It is crazy how this limiter absolutely squashes transients in brickwall fashion. I have nicknamed it “The Troll“ because NONE SHALL PASS!
