Shantae Dances animation (4K 60fps)

An animation I did based on the animation from Shantae and the Seven Sirens. This is a side project I took on to get better at 2D animation. It’s been a long time since I’ve done work in 2D, so this took longer to make then I would have liked. Still, it was fairly fun and I learned quite a bit. Her animation is slightly sped up to match the tempo of the song (Mermaid Falls from Shantae: Half-Genie Hero), so I think it would look smoother with something around 100 bpm. I also added in some random blinking and mouth movement which were some short animations I had to layer on top.
