OCSS-003 Building an Ocean Capable Mini-Cruiser

Check out the updated version of this video: Support this channel on Patreon! In this episode I clear out space in my garage and discuss my plans to build a 14’ mini-cruiser capable of crossing oceans. Although I have several customizations in mind, the basis of the boat design will be the plans for the Tenten 425 Version 2 designed by Jerome Delaunay. Some exciting features of the design I look forward to making build videos about: Trim-tab self steering Custom DIY waterproof round hatch Oval doghouse featuring seated interior steering position with 360° visibility Interior tiller/whipstaff steering system in addition to external tiller Sheets/other control lines on deck and in the cabin for foul weather sailing Retractable bowsprit Spinning mast to furl mainsail Ventilation system, leak-proof through a 360° roll Donations to help build the boat: 🟠 Patreon: https
