2018 WCPO/Scripps Regional Spelling Bee (Kentucky and Indiana)

Dozens of competitors from Ohio took part in the 2018 WCPO 9 On Your Side/Scripps Regional Spelling Bee. Tanvi Rakesh from Longbranch Elementary School won the Kentucky/Indiana competition with the word “canoa,“ a sloop-rigged fishing boat common in the Amazon delta.
