Cigarettes. M/S of a picture of the man who invented the first cigarette after the Crimean war. A man holds ’threes’ which are old cigarettes wrapped in paper. Various shots of an artist (Joe Noble ?) smoking heavily whilst painting. A ’film star’ reclines on a chaise longue and has her nose powdered whilst holding a cigarette in a long holder. M/S diagram showing how far all the cigarettes you smoked in a day would stretch. Various diagrams show how many cigarettes worth of tobacco are wasted in a day by people of different occupations.
