Peter Besenyei Flies Through the Corinth Canal

Peter Besenyei, one of the most talented pilots in the world and Red Bull Air Race competitor, recently flew through the Corinth Canal in his aerobatics plane, doing his best “Luke Skywalker navigating the Death Star“ impression. The aircraft, an Extra 300S D-EFBY that has 300 horsepower, has a wingspan of 26 feet -- not much less than the 70ft that the Corinth Canal measures at its narrowest point.
