Only forward! *Taras - Taras Shevchenko - Ukrainian writer and painter, ideologist of the struggle for independence of Ukraine, became a symbol of freedom and struggle against slavery. *Yalta - city at the southern part of Crimea. *Odesa - big city in the south of Ukraine. *Chernihiv and Sumy - regional centres at the north of Ukraine. *Maidan - short name of the revolution in Ukraine which comes from the name of main square in Kyiv - Square of Independence (maidan = square). There were two “maidans“ in Ukrainian history: Orange Revolution in 2004 and Revolution of Dignity in 2014, here “Maidan“ means the last one. Many people, who were taking part in the revolution, after begining of war in Donbas joined Ukrainian army as a volunteers. *“No one dies twice“ - cossack proverb. *“Grad“ - soviet and russian truck-mounted 122mm multiple rocket launcher, after 2014 during Russian-Ukrainian war it was using by russian army despite “Minsk agreements“ which banned such weapon. *“From Sian to Don“ - words from National anthem of Ukraine, Sian and Don are rivers between which Ukraine is located. State anthem of Ukraine, which is short version of the National anthem, doesn’t contain that words.
