Eppley closed after plane slides off runway; no injuries reported

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -- Minutes after a Southwest plane reportedly slid off a runway on Friday, Eppley Airfield announced on Twitter it was closed. No injuries were reported. According to the official Eppley Twitter account, Southwest Airlines flight No. 1643, arriving from Las Vegas, “exited the end of Runway 14R following a landing in Omaha.
