Lasius latipes infiltrating host colony

A young Lasius latipes queen is searching for a host colony when she stumbled upon another Lasius species (central NJ). She immediately tries to gain entry in order to find and kill the host colony’s queen. She is attacked by the host workers but doesn’t seem to mind as she is intensely focused on her mission. She eventually gained access into the nest. Best when viewed in HD.
