Tari Putri Angasuh

Also known as Putri Angangsuh. I don’t know which one is correct. It is about a group of girls bathing in the river. In the old days in Bali people would use the river to bathe and wash their clothes. Now days people still do it but not as often, especially because the rivers are now quite polluted with rubbish, pesticides and runoff from the roads. Like much of Bali’s art, this dance romanticises the past.
