This simulation compares the effectiveness of the standard M26 Pershing’s armour to it’s up-armoured version, the M26E4 Super pershing. The Pershing was designed to offer improved firepower and protection than the Sherman but proved lacklustre against the 88mm L/71 used by vehicles like the Tiger 2 and Jagdpanther.
