Eduard Schütt - Pour tous les Ages,

“16 Morceaux élégants et instructifs pour Piano“ Schütt wrote a very interesting set of short pieces of various difficulty here. Having played over a 1000 videos, I can say that he is very much at the top of all composers so far regarding subtle and insecure/delicate writing. He really knew what he was doing. I will write a little bit to the pieces I especially liked so that you can decide to listen to them first if 20 minutes is too long. It’s maybe a bit crazy to sight through this in one day. But I’m happy to present it 0:00 A la nuit Starting off with a general idea of his harmonic language. Lots of little “espressivos“, slight ritardandos and accelerandos, only “p“ and “pp“ markings throughout. And nothing higher than that. Look at the score: “morendo, tranquillo, dolcissimo, molto dolce“. that says all. 1:48 Tendre soupir 4:09 Menuet de la petite marquise 5:18 Un mot d’amour Just beautif
