It is unique in the territory of the ancient Luni, border land between Liguria and Tuscany, between the Apuan Alps and the Mediterranean Sea. Casale Amati is the oldest mill of east Liguria; its origins date back to the fourteenth century. A.D. Over the centuries the structure has changed until the present appearance. Casale Amati consists of three elegant houses, over 100 square meters each: “La Marchesa“, “Le Macine“, “Il Frantoio“. All the residences are furnished with care and charm, using antique furniture belonged to our family. One of dominant parts of the furniture is an heavy stone wheel and gears all around an ancient chestnut tree’s pole, used in the processing of olives, giving it an unique charm. Casale Amati has independent outdoor spaces in a large and varied Italian garden.
