BUSHCRAFT Split-Log DOOR Made with HAND Tools, Hanging TABLE, Catch and COOK Fish, Blueberry Juice
The second part of the construction my best dugout in the forest.
โ BUSHCRAFT DUGOUT START to FINSH ๐
In this video, I make a door out of split logs using hand tools. I use an axe, a folding saw and a knife for work.
I work the split logs with an ax to get even boards. This work takes up most of the time.
The door is assembled using wooden dowels, which are secured with wedges on both sides.
Many were interested in whether water flows inside the dugout during the rains. No, it doesnโt. Itโs completely dry inside.
An interesting feature is that on hot days it is very cool in the dugout. But as soon as the kerosene lamp is lit in the evening, it becomes warmer inside than outside.
Also in this video I make a hanging table. It folds up to save space and so that the mice do not run on it, this is an important point.
Sweet blueberries have already ripened in the forest and there are a lot of chanterelles around the dugout - this is a very tasty addition to the diet.
I did not find crayfish in the river, but on the other hand, burbot is found in this red water - I baked one in clay. Very tasty and oily fish.
In the next part, I plan to make a stone and clay fireplace.
Thanks for watching and subscribe.
