11-15-2023 Grindavík, Iceland - Power Plant Being Protected From Possible Lava Flows

Scientists still believe a eruption is likely. Just to drive home the point to any tourists not aware… The signs to the popular tourist destination Blue Lagoon as well as Grindavik have been struck out on the highway signs. Just down the road a immense effort is underway to protect the Svartsengi geothermal power plant. Truck load after truck load is being dumped around the facility to try and stop any lava from making it to the facility. The truck loads are being loaded just a few miles away with old volcanic rock to try and stop new volcanic rock.
