Here is a short backstory to the track: To raise awareness on deforestation and its effects on local communities, Simón went on an adventure to the vast Pacific Rainforest Network in Colombia. Sampling various instruments, chants, and nature sounds from Afro-Columbian and indigenous communities, he wrote “Chibi Chibi’’ to share the power of the experience in a language that can be understood by the entire world, music. He teamed up with Stand For Trees - an environmental organization that is taking action to combat the growing climate crisis, their purpose is to protect the world’s most spectacular forests while aiding the indigenous and local communities that call them home.
