Police inspect railway line after three people are killed by train

The bodies, said to be men in their twenties, were found close to Loughborough Junction near Brixton shortly after today. One theory is that they were a group of graffiti artists knocked down by one of the many freight trains that use the line (main picture today) through the night when passenger services don’t run between 1am and . Spraypaint cans were carried away in evidence bags (top left) and are believed to have been found by the bodies, which were lying next to a large wall covered in graffiti ’tags’ (top right). Detectives are also considering if the trio killed themselves deliberately. The three people were declared dead at the scene by London Ambulance Service and their bodies were removed in bags and on stretchers this morning (bottom right).
