Cirrus CAPS deployment

This footage shows a test deployment of the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System during its development. This system is designed to lower the aircraft and its occupants safely to the ground in the event of a mechanical failure, pilot incapacitation, or any life threatening event where the pilot elects to deploy.
