Germany has stated that two Russian hunter satellites are “chasing“ German military spacecraft in orbit. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said at a space conference in Berlin that Russian satellites are allegedly spying on German spacecraft, reports Sky News. Pistorius said that the Russian satellites, which he called “Luch and Olymp,“ are pursuing Intelsat satellites that serve, among others, civilian users and the Bundeswehr. Allegedly, the satellites can eavesdrop on German military personnel and, if necessary, destroy spacecraft “kinetically.“ Are the Aerospace Forces really preparing?
