Combating Methane Gas Pollution

Tons of waste find its way to hundreds of landfills across the country every day. 70-80 percent of the waste is organic. Organic waste is a high contributor of methane gas to the atmosphere, once it is left to rot in landfills. In a bid to combat methane gas pollution, a group of waste pickers in Naivasha town are turning the tide through the circular economy strategy to address methane gas pollution.
