Sciarrino - De la Nuit (score video) (1971)

This piece, one of Salvatore Sciarrino’s early works, is based for the greatest part on quotations from Ravel’s piano triptych ’Gaspard de la Nuit’ (the first and last pieces ’Ondine’ and ’Scarbo’), but distorts the original fragments and places them into a new, unpredictable context.
