Koris vs. DJule pres. K&D - Green Spirit (Extended Mix)

It’s a massive shame this track never got the attention it deserved. It’s one of my favorites off of Anjunabeats Worldwide 01, but despite appearing on such a legendary mix it never seemed to make it big. It has one of the deepest atmosphere I’ve heard, and that melody carries an impactful load of emotion. For some reason, this song reminds me of the state of Washington, specifically the Pacific Northwest, where I live. It captures that grand, mysterious aura that characterizes our looming mountains, whose secrets are contained by swathes of united evergreen. Growing up here, I can say the PNW has its own spirit that is always tangible. Perhaps that spirit is green? Perhaps this song was made specifically for Washington...
