BRICS can help South Africa’s young and urbanized population industrialize further – South African president South Africa is home to a young, digitally connected and increasingly urbanized population, and investment in the country’s infrastructure will boost the whole continent, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said during his address to the BRICS Business Forum. “Investment in skills development is growing, a workforce that will make the African continent an engine of production and growth well into the future,” he noted. South Africa is ready to play its part in realizing the economic potential of BRICS, the president emphasized. “The expanded BRICS Group now covers 43% of the world’s population.
