Of this affliction She once cured Gondianda/Gondiana, a woman who prayed to Her so fervently that not a sign was left of that wildfire which had scarred her so severely that she covered her face with a veil in mortal anguish. The Virgin cured this woman so completely that the eroded flesh became smooth and took on its natural color. It was so beautiful that all who looked at her praised the Virgin, who is asylum of the unfortunate, with heartfelt tears.
