Crawfishing AKA Lake - Cray Fishing (1930)

I would say that this material is probably unusable due to evidence of nitrate decomposition from original neg. No title. “Here’s “Crawfish“ Pete the head man of all “craw-dabbers“ - Willamette River, Oregon.“ C/U of elderly man smoking a pipe as he rows a small boat. M/S of the boat as it moves away from the camera. “He’s a curious fellow with a curious job.“ C/U of the man as he rows. L/S of him standing on the back of the boat throwing in crawfish pots. “But a dollar a dozen for these fresh water lobsters — is a business!“ Box of crawfish is poured onto the bottom of the boat. C/U of the crawfish. Note: was a blue tinted print originally - decomposing and safety neg made 15/11/98. Part of a “Walter Futter’s Curiosities“ film - presumably bought in by Pathe for reuse. Safety print only. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV. IT’S FULL OF GREAT DOCUMENTARIES, FASCINATING INTERVIEWS, AND CLASSIC MOVIES.
