Ele tocou com eles de 1971 até 1972. Ele então formou a banda Drama com quem gravou um álbum. Em 1973 ele formou sua própria banda Fontessa , juntamente com o baterista de Drama Shel Schellekens . Em 1974 eles gravaram um álbum e um ano depois um single foi lançado, Um olhar em seus olhos / Onde você esteve. Após o declínio de Fontessa Van de Kloot gravou um álbum solo, em 1976, também intitulado Fontessa. Em 1978, um segundo álbum solo é lançado. Ele é atualmente o proprietário de uma loja de violão em Haia.
