As a Novice content creator who mainly records on a table top setting, I found that it is pretty cumbersome when it comes to changing camera positions. A lot of time is spent on articulating tripods or even switching mounts in order to get a variety of views especially on the extreme ends from down looking to really low angles.
I saw Ivan Miranda’s 3D printed crane on his awesome channel and it occurred to me that a miniaturised crane can actually be used as a universal table top tripod. Unfortunately there are no commercially available cranes small enough to fit on the table and hence I present u the Micro Jib. It is an almost fully 3D printable and very functional crane that still has unexplored potential use cases.
