Cyntax- Your Time Is Now / Darkness Surrounding- VTO Records- 2023

`Cyntax` or Ollie Kaye (to his friends and family) is a name you may be familiar with if you have heard of this little underground sound we call `Neurofunk` Hailing from Essex, UK and coming from a background of music, Ollie was playing instruments regularly like the Piano, guitar and trumpet before taking his first leap into session music by recording his own songs at home in his bedroom that were a little on the questionable side to say the least. It wasn’t until attending University in Bristol that he discovered the sounds of drum and bass, starting with Jump Up and then being drawn into the darkside once discovering the likes of Eatbrain at the Qube Project in London. As with most stories like this, a natural progression into Djing soon brought him full circle and producing music again but this time fully digital, and engrossed himself in sound design to discover his sound.
