Busia’ journey to become a pet and therapy dog | FOUR PAWS |

In the depth of winter two years ago, a scared and hungry dog 🐕was found roaming the streets of Lviv in Western Ukraine. Local volunteers decided to foster the dog until a new home could be found for her. Shortly after, our team received a call from a local animal behaviourist who noticed the dog’s potential for the Animal Assisted Interventions project in Vinnytsia. They travelled 400 kilometres across the country to meet her and conduct behaviour tests. The little dog passed with flying colours and they named her Busia.🐾 From the very beginning, Busia was calm and friendly, and ready to play with everyone 🚸. She likes training, interacting with people, and receiving lots of hugs. She is being cared for and trained by Natalia. As you can see, Busia is helping children with special needs with completing their tasks ⚽, and she recognizes and imitates their feelings and needs perfectly.
