Item title reads - Armistice Day 1925. The years slip by, but memory remains. London. Intertitle - ’The Pathe Gazette counts it one of its proudest privileges to be able to enable you - for a few brief moments - to “look back“ once again. Intertitle - ’Now, once again, King and Princes - Priests and people unite to pay tribute to our glorious dead.’ L/S of the Cenotaph, crowds stand at the side and clergymen walk around to stand near it. M/S as King George V, Prince Edward (Prince of Wales) and Prince Albert (Duke of York) walk up to the Cenotaph followed by other military officers. M/S of the King and two Princes stood together, the King is given a wreath and walks up to lay it on the Cenotaph. The two Princes do the same. L/S of the Cenotaph with wreaths at the bottom. M/S as the King and assembled officials take their hats off as a mark of respect, L/S of the Cenotaph, M/S as they replace their hats. L/S of the crowds, the camera pans across to the Cenotaph.
