Resterne af Rigsfællesskabet - Dark Music Days 2019 - Iðnó

Miké Thomsen wasn’t able to join us physically for this performance, so we sampled him, sonically and spiritually, and incorporated this into our improvised set. Resterne af Rigsfællesskabet - The Remains of the (Danish) Commonwealth consists of Jesper Pedersen (DK/ISL) Heðin Ziska Davidsen (FO) and Miké Thomsen (GL). The group is an performative abstraction of the Danish Commonwealth, where each of the members represent the current member countries. By including Iceland, the country that last declared independence of the commonwealth, the group questions the current state of the commonwealth. The answer is for the listener to decide.
