Amanda Ghatorra - Lullaby (Berlin Artist Looping Performance AUTUMN)

I am a Berlin based live looping artist and this is the produced version of my single ‘Lullaby’ that I wrote for my concept album ’Seasons’ for autumn This song was written, composed, mixed und produced by myself. ABOUT THIS SONG This song is inspired by an Alan Watts talk I listened to a while ago. He talked about perceiving the world through our own subjective filter of perception and tricking ourselves to believe that the story of our lives and our thoughts are the ultimate reality. Which, if we think about it, cannot be true as everyone has their own individual perception of reality. I find this concept to be very interesting, because in the end it leads to this existential question: ‘What is reality?’. I didn’t write this song to analyse this question, but to put it into play instead. My intention is to take a subject that seems to be very solid, firm and heavy in our mind and turn it around into something more playful by really owning and inhabiting this moment.
