When the video reaches 0:45, reset it back to 0:15 and there will be no change in pitch even though the tone seems to keep rising. Each tone takes about 30 seconds to transition exponentially from the threshold of silence to the maximum amplitude, remains there from 500 to 1000hz (one octave) then starts decreasing in amplitude again. This is different than the usual implementation of this illusion, due to the discontinuities in the amplitude function (simply to see if it makes the effect any more or less
