I watched the original Battlestar Galactica TV show when it came out in 1978. I was fascinated by the vector graphics and found out later these graphics were produced on Tektronix vector graphics computers including the Tektronix 4051. I am working on a game for my Tektronix 4054A computer which has an Option 30 Dynamic Graphics coprocessor - this could be called a vector GPU! This video demonstrates the targeting display of the Colonial Viper with the Cylon ship in orange in refresh (non-persistent) vectors.
