Maico 490, 1982 2 stroke Motocross

Newly restored 1982 Maico 490 cc. This is the first time starting up the beast after standing for 15 years in all weathers and having a gearbox rebuild (which is why it was a bugger for kick starting). Running a bit rich at the moment and so the reason for the smoke, and probably the fact it’s not ran for those 15 years.
