Spanish Astra , A True Blowback 9mm Luger Pistol

Before anything is said, apologies for the sound quality. We had a bit of a technical malfunction, but still the audio is listenable we hope? Anyhow, in this video, we take the Spanish Astra Modelo 600/43 to the range, and then talk about why it was created and a bit about its mechanics. The M600 was based on the earlier Astra M400/M1921, but was chambered exclusively for the 9x19mm Parabellum/Luger cartridge. This was because it was intended for the Nazi-German gov’t during WWII, though in the end it ended up seeing use by West Germany instead. Interested in becoming a Patreon contributor?
