Troupe Sarmat (Horses) - 12th International Circus Festival “City of Latina“ 2010

Gold Medal winners: this troupe, directed by Oleg Tandelov, comes from North Ossezia (an autonomous region from the Russian Federation of Republics). The traditional and visceral love and respect for horses of the Ossetian People transpires from this number, which echoes the well-known affinity between the Cossacks and their horses. The skill of the Ossetian performers is accentuated by the extraordinary participation of a group of six dancers from the prestigious Moscow State Circus “Bolshoi“. Vincitori del “Latina d’Oro“: la Troupe Sarmat, diretta da Oleg Tandelov, proviene dall’Ossezia del Nord (una regione autonoma della Russia). Nel loro numero i Sarmat portano in pista tutto l’amore e la passione che gli osseti tuttora nutrono per i cavalli, sulle orme dell’antica tradizione cosacca. L’abilità degli artisti è accentuata dalla partecipazione straordinaria di un gruppo di sei ballerine del prestigioso Circo di Stato di Mosca “Bolshoi“.
