This is Ruth Wallis’ only appearance on Australian TV. Ruth Wallis appeared on the “Mobil-Limb“ Show (circa 1964). Bobby Limb was the Australian Johnny Carson, he hosted the first nationally broadcast variety show “down under“. Typecast as the “saucy chanteuse“, Ruth Wallis music was banned from airplay, her records were confiscated at Mascot Airport when she arrived in Australia. In love with the Australian people, she wrote this “straight“ Australian Anthem “She’ll be Apples“.
