Waterfalls is about the loss of my mother, and the overwhelming emotions that come with grief. When she passed, I took a long break from everything to process. When I was ready to write again, I needed to do so on my own. So I set up a home studio and started producing for the first time. It took me out of that dark place into a creative space where music could help me heal. Waterfalls was the hardest one to write, but I couldn’t release such a personal album without it.
