My new single Smoke and Fire was one of the first tracks I made for Cautionary Tales Of Youth in the middle of the UK lockdown. Summer 2020 in my South Tottenham studio that I shared with long term collaborator Joe Brown. Having just gone through a big break up, I ventured into the world of app dating. Distance park walks, canal bike rides, corner shop glances. Smoke and Fire is about dating in lockdown and finding someone that saw me through the bullshit that is “my life” and the chaos of “city life”.
