Jemma Pixie Hixon (Age 19)- Now We Are Free Cover- Gladiator Theme Tune Soundtrack-Lisa Gerrard

This is one of my favourite songs ever by the incredibly talented composer, Hans Zimmer. The song is from the soundtrack of one of my favourite films; Gladiator. The song is called Now We Are Free. Everyone seems to make the common mistake of thinking this song was sung by Enya when in fact, Enya did not sing this song, it was sung by Lisa Gerrard. Gerrard even received a Golden Globe Award for the music score to the film Gladiator, on which she collaborated with Hans Zimmer and Klaus Badelt. Also the language in this song is an idiosyncratic language that Gerrard has developed since the age of twelve :) It was hard to learn due to the language used. I hope you enjoy it!
