Passchendaele #1 (WW1)

Canadian soldiers are pinned down by a German machine gun nest in a Belgian village during WW1. Taken from the 2008 movie ’Passchendaele’, the scene at the end with the young German soldier was based on the experiences of actor/producer/director Paul Gross’s grandfather, who killed a young soldier in just this manner, and it haunted him to his dying day. The horror of war and no mistake.
